After the long hiatus, “Home & Family” announced on March 8 that the series was returning. But instead of returning to a full schedule, they announced the show was returning on April 5 for a new one-hour format airing only three days a week, Monday through Wednesday. On March 23, just a few weeks after announcing that the show was returning, Crown Media announced that the series was canceled. Former Hallmark Channel CEO Bill Abbott’s new TV network, GAC Family, is launching on September 27. According to an Instagram story shared by GAC TV’s official account, the former hosts of “Home & Family” — Cameron Mathison and Debbie Matenopoulos — will be hosting a special event on GAC Family on October 24. Back then, Hallmark was airing movies in the show’s time slot, but this later changed.

Failing that, Hallmark Channel execs could have felt like their daytime programming needed a refresh since Home & Family had dominated the channel’s daytime time slots for almost a decade. The show continued on to season two where it premiered on September 30, 2013. Then on April 30, 2014, Home & Family was renewed for a third season, which premiered on September 15 of that same year.

Home& Family was again renewed for a third season on 30th April 2014 and started airing on 13th September 2014. In March, Variety first reported the news that “Home & Family” was going to be canceled. Prior to that, the show’s future already seemed precarious.

‘Home and Family’ Canceled by Hallmark Channel

Its revival began on October 1, 2012, and moved to its current home, the Hallmark Channel. The series originally premiered on April 1, 1996, on The Family Channel, and was dropped by the network immediately prior to its 1998 relaunch as the Fox Family Channel. In 2012, Hallmark Channel picked up a revival of the series, airing as a two-hour program on weekday mornings. "With the current information regarding COVID-19 in Southern California, and in keeping with SAG/AFTRA recommendations, we are suspending production on our daytime series, Home & Family," the tweet read. Production eventually resumed in March, but with one major caveat. With the main theme changing every week, each episode introduces celebrity guests and experts from different fields.

She loved to make pumpkin bread especially for her grands but also for her friends and family. Jean found joy in spending time with her family, taking vacations, and traveling to the hill country. She also loved her “old lady road trips" with the ladies. Jean loved when Fall got here but her absolute favorite time of year was Christmas. But it’s — I just think that one of the things that I think frustrates the American people is they know the world is in a bit of disarray.

When she became a mommy for the first time, she had the opportunity to be a full-time mother and stay at home to raise her daughter. Two years later, she was blessed with twins. All three of her children were her world and she doted on each of them. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting, bow fishing, and pool time. She was known as “Nanie” by her nieces and nephews, and they all loved her. Jessica loved life and she always had a beautiful smile on her face.

I have many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Besides spending time with her family, Nancy loved reading, watching cooking shows and Animal Planet. She was an extraordinary person who lived most of her life with a debilitating disease that left her body confined to a wheelchair but not her spirit. She grew to be emotionally strong and mentally determined to live her best life under any circumstances. She was very thoughtful on how she impacted anyone that she came into contact with and created life long bonds with some of her caregivers.

He was known as “Pawpaw” and carried that title proudly. In his younger years, fishing and raising livestock were his passion. He would attend the rodeo in Huntsville every year and was disappointed when they canceled it completely. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Daddy tried to be the best son, brother, husband, parent and friend that he could be.

The two fell in love and married on October 11, 1948 in San Augustine. Bill and Teenie moved from San Augustine to Moscow in 1953, where they raised their children. They were married 36 years before Bill’s death in 1984. He volunteered for the Fire Department at Holiday Lakes and Indian Springs.

Kathy was a sales manager for the PACTIV corporation, a member of First United Methodist Church of Livingston, Texas and was also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Imogene Shell, former resident of Livingston, Texas, passed away on July 12th, 2020. She was born July 20th, 1933 in Memphis, Tennessee to Mary Alice Nichols.

Kennedy announced a change of policy from support to partnership with Diem to defeat of communism in South Vietnam.

Assigned to Company B-3, he met and made some of the very best friends any man could ask for. The “Magnificent 7”, Class of ’67, include Nick Nickelson,, Daryl Ray, Carl Richardson, Lawrence Wyatt, Samuel Reeves and the late Earl Hammit and Victor Schmidt. The special relationship and loyalty with this group of men is a brotherhood bond that continued through Bill’s very last breath on this earthly home. After earning his degree at A&M, Bill served his country in the Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. As soon as he could, Bill returned to Polk County to make his home in Moscow where he and his brothers began a construction company that subcontracted jobs for TxDot and several building sites in the area. Though Bill’s gentle, kind hearted spirit will be missed on this earth, there is no replacement for the peace in knowing his salvation was determined.

He was filled with pride hearing “Bird’s Battlin’ Brigade” for this first time. At 19 he began teaching band, the start of a 47-year career in education. Stuart was band director in Natchitoches Parish schools, Many High School, and Carthage High School.
